KARACHI: The US dollar climbed to 270.25 rupees in the interbank on Thursday, appreciating Rs1.42 to reach a new all-time high against the Pakistani Rupee, local media reported.
The local currency depreciated 0.53 percent in the inter-bank market in the early hours of trading on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the greenback was being traded at 273-277 in the open market, a local TV channel reported citing forex dealers.
